On Home Sweet Home Chicago last week, I shared that the Fed cut interest rates—which is great news. However, there are some underlying factors that aren’t so great. One of the biggest concerns is labor. The U.S. Labor Department actually canceled the October inflation numbers because they were so volatile, forcing us to rely on ADP reports instead. At the same time, consumer credit card debt is at its highest level since November 2024. There is some good news, though. Gas prices are coming down,
