A 21-year-old student pilot walked away uninjured after his light aircraft crashed and caught fire at Parafield Airport in Adelaide's north during his third solo flight. The aircraft bounced heavily during a touch-and-go landing manoeuvre, lost airspeed causing the left wing to stall, and impacted the runway before bursting into flames approximately 30 seconds after the pilot evacuated.
