Activists Downloaded Pretty Much All of Spotify
Volunteer hacktivists working for Anna's Archive have managed to scrape all the metadata of the Spotify library.
Spotify has around 256 million tracks, and the Anna’s Archive collection contains metadata for an estimated 99.9% of them.
Anna's Archive, a shadow library search engine, recently scraped Spotify to create a pirate archive containing 86 million songs and metadata for 256 million tracks.
