All westbound lanes of Interstate 80 in Hercules were shut down Thursday morning after an officer-involved shooting involving Richmond police, according to law enforcement. The Hercules Police Department advised motorists to avoid the area around I-80 and Highway 4 due to officers’ presence in the area.
