Pimblett is entering the first title fight of his UFC career. The Irishman has won all seven of his bouts in the promotion, including a TKO win over Michael Chandler at UFC 314. Pimblett is 23-3 in his MMA career, with 17 victories coming by knockout or submission.

The UFC is back after a lengthy holiday break and ready to start its new seven-year broadcast era on Paramount+.

This is the first-ever UFC event on Paramount+, as the promotion has moved away from the Pay-Per-View model with a $7.7 billion deal with the streaming service.
