Jeff Ulbrich is sticking around as Falcons defensive coordinator

With Kevin Stefanski’s hire, the team will indeed be keeping Ulbrich. per NFL insider Ian Rapoport. It ensures continuity on defense, allowing the team to build on their 2025 performance if they can enhance the roster, and will hopefully help the Falcons avoid the Ryan Nielsen-to-Jimmy Lake fiasco of 2023/2024.

Falcons expected to retain defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich

According to a report from NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the Falcons are keeping defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich in place. Team owner Arthur Blank said he was impressed with the job Ulbrich did last season and despite leaving the decision up to Stefanski, it was clear Atlanta wanted to retain its defensive coordinator.
