The first Zuffa Boxing event is in the books. Callum Walsh took home a comfortable decision on Friday night in the main event of Zuffa Boxing 01 over Carlos Ocampo at the Meta Apex.

Dana White isn’t going to like this one. The long-awaited debut of Zuffa Boxing is officially in the books, featuring an eight-fight card that was meant to signal a new era for the promotion.

Zuffa Boxing 1, headlined by Callum Walsh vs Carlos Ocampo, is the promotion’s official first event, and kicks off a ground-breaking broadcast deal with Paramount+. The streamer aired the show in the US and UK, but international fans were able to watch on a free YouTube stream.

Instead of calling out boxers, Asofa-Solomona used the chance to call out NRL players. When asked who he wants next, he said, “Any NRL player can get it”. And fans blasted the farce of a boxing fight. “That was embarrassing,” one fan wrote following the short fight.
